Photo: RTC scene, Lord Street Southport (2.45pm) The emergency services were called to Lord Street following a 999 call this afternoon, Saturday 10 October 2015. A Skoda collided with a convertible Peugeot at the junction outside the Bold hotel. Police arrived at the scene within minutes and took statements from both drivers and witnesses. The ambulance turned up a short time after. Two occupants required medical treatment for injuries sustained in the accident. Thieves ransack camper van only days after doing cars in the same car park Four cars outside a block of apartments on Roe Lane were broken into over the weekend. Mr Alan Pinkerton(55) of Cemetery Road, had owned the three-year-old dog for more than two years, Liverpool Crown Court heard. Chris Taylor, prosecuting, said Pinkerton’s 24-year-old daughter and his 16-month-old granddaughter had moved in with him last summer. Crown court heard Pinkerton had been arguing with his daughter when she threw a remote control at him. Local Councillors Barton and Bliss have worked together to achieve funding for tree-lined streets in their respective Dukes and Cambridge wards here in Southport.
