Two appliances from Southport Community Fire Station attended the scene, along with four police response vehicles. The former head teacher of a Southport primary school will face a professional conduct hearing, 24th to 27th November 2015. Colin Coleman, from Southport, was the head of Linaker Primary School for more than 13 years before he was dismissed for gross misconduct. Coleman will now stand before a professional conduct panel from 24th to 27th November. Sefton Council carried out an audit on the school in early 2014, which looked at the business accounts of the Sefton Street school. A Merseyside police constable has been nominated for a regional and national police bravery award. The Police Federation Bravery Awards, which this year will mark their 20thanniversary, are presented annually to honour police officers who have performed outstanding acts of bravery while on or off duty. We carried out an unannounced comprehensive inspection of this service on 25th February 2015, at which a breach of legal requirements was found. This was because medication practices were not as robust as required and improvements were needed to the way in which medication practices were audited.
