Southport BID Manager, Andrew Sloman quoted:

“We are delighted to reveal that for the first time Southport will be getting an ice rink in the heart of the town centre for Christmas.

From the 5th of December until the 4th January the rink, which the BID is installing on Town Hall Gardens, will become really big festive attraction for shoppers.

ots-southport- gardensOver the last few years ice rinks have become a popular feature in many large towns and cities and always prove to be a hit. We know it’s something the people of Southport have wanted for a very long time and it’s a pleasure to make their wishes come true.

With the vibrant new Christmas lights, the big switch on event, the log cabin style markets down Chapel Street from 11th to 20th December and of course our wealth of fine independent shops and big brand stores we really are making Southport the best place to enjoy that classic Christmas experience this year”.
