    By Community Contributor24th June 2021

Calling all dog owners!  Woodlands Animal Sanctuary are excited to announce their first in person dog show in over 12 months!

A regular and very popular attraction at their open days their fun dog show is usually very well attended.  The charity has missed seeing their supporters in person and are struggling with fundraising and so have decided to kill two birds with one stone.

Featuring 12 classes and a best in show, entries can be made on the day and the rosettes and certificates, plus a couple of surprises are all ready to go.  Being held in the fabulous indoor arena at Thompson House Equestrian Centre in Standish on Saturday 3rd July with Judging starting at 1:30pm you are invited to bring your precious pooch along to support the lifesaving work Woodlands carry out and to have a fun filled afternoon with your doggo!

Choose from the likes of Most Handsome Boy and Prettiest Girl, Best Rescue, Bad Hair Day, Best Party Trick and many more.  They are also having a Fancy Dress Class so get your thinking caps on and pop along to support this hardworking animal rescue.

As with all of their events, you will also be very well fed and watered, with cakes and drinks available to buy, so you can be sure you will be very happy to kick back and relax while you wait for your classes to start.
