Woman nearly dies after dodgy takeaway

A southport woman who was nearly killed after a dodgy takeaway set off her allergies has taken the restaurant to court.

Nasib tandoori in Birkdale pleaded guilty to food violations today after their chefs cooked a meal for a Southport woman – yet despite knowing she had a peanut allergy, made it with nut protein.

The girl had to be rushed to hospital where she was given emergency life saving treatment.

It’s thought there were also a number of hygiene violations.
