WATCH: Record numbers take part and watched the brave taking the Fernley plunge

The Fernley is an event that commemorates one of the largest RNLI lifeboat disasters that saw the loss of 27 life boat men.

The event, billed as something to “Walk and watch, or run and plunge” was set up by Jonathan Cunningham in 2016.

Anyone wishing to take part in next year’s event can book the Early Bird offer over the next few weeks.
