    Walsh Community FC Bingo tonight!

    By Community Contributor13th February 2021

Walsh Sports Community FC are holding a Saturday Night Bingo event TONIGHT live on their Facebook page from 6pm.

Just £2 a ticket to play the bingo has a football theme. Pick three lines of five teams from the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two to make up your bingo card to join the fun.

All money raised will be split between the prize fund and the club.

Head to https://www.facebook.com/WalshSportsFC to get involved!

Club Chairman James Walsh said, “It’s great to keep our families connected during these difficult times. The bingo is great, children get to research teams and everyone gets to do it together as a family. It’s a real community feel which is what our club is built on.”

Under 6’s coach Callum said, “It’s great fun for the kids and the adults and just one of many initiatives which the club has been doing during the lockdowns to keep the kids engaged and active.”

Callum and other coaches have been holding regular Zoom sessions to bring the teams together, give them some activities to do to stave off the lockdown boredom and hopefully encourage healthy habits.

Callum will also be offering one on one football coaching sessions for Under 6’s once lockdown is over, covering basic ball control, passing, crossing, shooting, tackling, attack and defence drills and the session will provide children with a great introduction to competitive football.

Limited one hour sessions are available to book at £12 per hour, contact Walsh Community FC via their Facebook page for further details.
