Vigil to honour the victims in last nights terror attacks to take place in Southport.

A vigil to honour those killed in last nights terror attacks will take place outside Southport Town Hall tonight from 7pm (Tuesday 23 May 2017).

Heartbroken Sandgrounders will join other towns and cities across the UK to pay their respects to those killed in the atrocities in Manchester.

Hundreds, if not thousands of people are expected to attend tonight, with people being asked to bring flowers or light candles to be laid outside the town hall. For those interested in attending please be available from 6.55pm.

A minutes silence will be held from 7.15pm and those who can are asked to bring candles or tea lights with them.
