Mindless vandals have turned their hand to amateur gardening in the early hours of this morning, tearing up planters in Southport Town Centre.
In the latest act of petty vandalism in the town, following destruction of cycle lane bollards on Hoghton Street, bored yobs have now taken to ripping up expensive planters on London Street.
The road is now littered with soil and plant material from the kerbside planters.
Although the vandalism has irked many, the irony is the planters will soon need reseeding and replanting regardless in Spring 2021.
