Whilst the eyes of country have been firmly on Gareth Southgate’s England Euro 2020 domination, a team a little closer to home will be looking for their first ever cup success on Thursday night.
The Upsteps Football Club will take on Halsall in the fiercely contested Mike Butterworth Cup at Portland Street fields.
After booking their place at the final with a decisive 10-0 victory over The Blue Anchor, Ross Paskin’s men will be heading into Thursdays final full of confidence to secure the silverware.
