Temporary traffic lights at the roundabout junction of Denmark Road, Manor Road and Cambridge Road have been causing disruption and delays in Churchtown today.
With schools returning this week, heavier traffic in the area resulted in long queues and substantial delays around the already usually busy school drop off and pick-up times.
It is not known how long the traffic control measures will be in place whilst what appeared to be emergency works to drains are being undertaken.
If you are travelling through the area expect to allow up to an extra 15 minutes to your journey until the obstruction is cleared.
