Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs Fair Play Champions
Southport &Ainsdale Amateurs Reds attended the annual Craven Minor League presentation on Tuesday 18th May at the floral hall.
This annual event sees only league winners attend to receive their championship trophies.
Attending the event to receive the under 12’s league championship, Southport & Ainsdale were also winners of the League Team of the year award for fair play.
Manager Gareth Roberts also picked up league manager of the year. This to add to his previous award of Sefton Sports Coach of the year in 2014.
Southport &Ainsdale Amateurs Reds have had a stunning season winning the league, The John Disley Cup and also finishing runners up in the Joseph Jackson Cup.
The team are currently preparing to move to 11 a side and require a couple of additional players to bolster their squad for the 2016/17 season.
