Something fishy about Cambridge Road pothole

By On The Spot News23rd January 2018

Shop owners are wondering what the catch is as they beg United Utilities to fix potholes left after emergency repair work.

The junction of Cambridge Road and Preston New Road is littered with pot holes left after work to fix water mains in the area.

Shop owners have said they’re confused as to who will foot the bill but are putting pressure on United Utilities to get something done.

One local business owner said “I don’t know why they can’t come back and fix what they broke but it’s causing aggro for us and for drivers who come in for shopping and start moaning about the Road.”

“The holes are wrecking wheels but United won’t do anything about it they’re just passing the buck”
