Show Woodlands Animal Sanctuary your love this Valentine’s Day

    By Community Contributor12th February 2021

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and Woodlands Animal Sanctuary would like to share with you a couple of initiatives they have launched for just this event!

With less than a week to go until the big day, the animal rescue charity didn’t want it to pass without you being able to share the love from your furry family to theirs.  With the wonders of modern technology, you can share a heartfelt message from your furbaby to ours along with a photo of your beautiful pet which will feature on our special webpage.  With a small donation which will help the animals the team at Woodlands are looking after you can show off the furry loves in your life.  Visit https://visufund.com/a-very-woodlands-valentines

And…if you want to start ‘feline’ fit this February along with spreading some Valentines love in your life – why not take up the charity’s challenge to walk 14 miles in 7 days to raise funds for the animals and bag yourselves a Woodlands completion Certificate and medal?  Or, if you’d prefer, you can set your own fitness challenge, get sponsored and as long as you send evidence of the challenge being completed along with the sponsorship money to Woodlands Animal Sanctuary you too can be the proud owner of a Woodlands certificate and medal!

So, if Valentine’s Day can leave you feeling a little empty, why not share your love to a good cause, get yourself active in the process and show the furry’s in your life just how much they mean to you by joining in with Woodlands this week.

The work the team do at their site in Holmeswood may not be making a difference to the big wide world, but you can be sure it is making the world of difference to the animals in their care.  And it is not an understatement when they say none of it would be possible if it wasn’t for your support.  This charity, now in its 16th year, have to raise their £4000+ a week running costs every week, 52 weeks a year, so however you support them, and however you join in – every penny matters and every donation makes a difference.

And with that, Woodlands Animal Sanctuary would like to wish you a very happy Valentine’s Day, and hope you can spend it doing something that you love and that brings you happiness.  Because over the past year we have all realised just how important this is & the difference it makes to our wellbeing!

If you’d like to keep up with the highs and lows of this animal rescue by following them on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok or visiting their website:   https://www.woodlandsanimalsanctuary.org.uk/
