Sally’s squat challenge for Marie Curie UK

    By Community Contributor5th March 2021

Local fundraiser Sally King will be on Cassie James’ mid-morning Mighty Radio 107.9FM show tomorrow (Saturday 6th March) talking about her upcoming 3,000 squat challenge to raise money for the Marie Curie UK’ Great Daffodil Appeal.

Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end of life charity.  They provide frontline nursing and hospice care, a free support line and a wealth of information and support on all aspects of dying, death and bereavement.

Marie Curie Nurses work on the front line, night and day, in people’s homes across the UK, providing hands-on care and vital emotional support.

Their nine hospices offer the reassurance of specialist care and support, in a friendly, welcoming environment, for people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones around the UK and their trained Helper volunteers and advisers provide practical information and support.

Every five minutes, someone in the UK dies without getting the care and support they need at the end of their life.

By donating to the Great Daffodil Appeal you can help Marie Curie provide much-needed expert care to people with terminal illnesses, as well as supporting their families.

You can listen to Cassie James’ mid-morning show every day between 10am and midday live on 107.9FM, online at www.mightyradio.co.uk or via Alexa or your smart speaker.
