RTC causing traffic disruption in Birkdale

Officers are attending a road traffic collision at the corner of Eastbourne Road and Liverpool Road in Birkdale this afternoon (Friday 26 March).

Traffic has been disrupted after a serious three-car RTC.

Traffic to and from Eastbourne Road has now been blocked off and fire engines have now arrived on scene.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area over the next hour while the accident is cleared.

Investigations continue on-scene.
