    Man punched multiple times to the head – Merseyside train

    Officers investigating an assault at Orrell Park station where a man was punched multiple times in the head, are looking to identify him in connection.

    At approximately 5.30pm on 18 July, the victim and another man had departed a train at the station and headed towards the exit.

    Both men started arguing, this became heated and the victim was punched several times to his head. The victim sustained a cut to the left hand side of his face and eyebrow, requiring hospital treatment.

    The suspect left the station in the direction of Orrell Lane.
