Harbour Business Group, a forward-thinking group of companies specializing in Corporate and Personal finances has launched a BRAND-NEW Facebook campaign to promote safe cycling and visibility.
HBG HQ resides in a largely residential area made up of two villages; based in Tarleton. Their primary services comprise of two subsidiary companies being HBG Corporate and HBG Finance. HBG Corporate serves business clients who are struggling to surface through their company debts, and ultimately cannot trade their company effectively and need advice. HBG Finance serves individuals and their finances, arranging all kinds of mortgages and protection policies.
In recent months, as the nights have got shorter and darker, both the local residents and HBG staff started to notice school-aged children riding bikes down busy main roads without any lights on.
Comments started to surface, and rumours started to circulate on social media. Lots of parents and teachers expressed their concerns, others wrote about their near misses with the bikes and explained how they had to swerve at the last second to avoid them. Some of the stories were horrifying and the HBG team wanted to help prevent accidents that were likely to happen.
Within their marketing budget, HBG allocated for 10 sets of LED rechargeable bike lights to give away to children in the local village.
The giveaway was advertised on the Harbour Business Group Facebook page and was even posted to a private community group where the response was fantastic, and the residents couldn’t believe their generosity. Within the day, all 10 light sets were claimed, and still the requests were coming in.
HBG plans to invite their 10 lucky winners to their Head Office next week to each collect their freebie. Look up ‘Harbour Business Group’ on Facebook and Like the page to follow their movements and see a photo of all the lights being collected!
