Flat block plagued by foreign fly tippers

Residents of an exclusive block of flats in the town centre say they have a massive and increasingly dangerous problem with fly tipping.

Gas canisters have now been dumped at the back of the Old Casino building next to a block of residential flats with men described as Eastern European visiting the land in the dead of night to dump their rubbish.

This morning residents woke to find partially empty gas canisters had been dumped among the rubbish.

Police and the council have been informed but residents say they aren’t hopeful of the issue being fixed any time soon.

They want gates added to the side road of the casino building to stop the culprits from gaining access
