Desolate arcade is a sorry sight as lego shop leaves

Shocked customers walking through Wayfarers Arcade were stunned to see the building almost empty.

With major fears that Beales will soon shut down and go into administration, only a handful of shops now remain in the arcade.

The latest shop to move out is the popular Brickcraft Lego and Games workshop which has now moved to Preston in a merger deal.

Master Barber Parlour and Lapel Menswear however remain strong and staunch renters of units at Wayfarer’s and see a steady stream of shoppers and customers keeping them afloat.

However the almost desolate arcade looks deserted on a busy January shopping day, with most store windows now empty and in need of being rented
