Burglaries

Between the 1st and 14th October burglaries or attempted burglaries have taken place in the following locations:

Sefton Street (shed), Portland Street (shed), Bispham Road (garage), Botanic Road (2 sheds), Southbank Road, Ivy Street, Roselea Drive, Drewitt Crescent, Part Street, Stanley Avenue, Liverpool Road, Dover Road (summer house), Castle Walk

Attempted burglaries 6

Car Keys and vehicles stolen 2

Crime Prevention Tips

As you can see from the above, sheds and garages are again being targeted. Also please ensure all external doors to houses are locked even when you are at home, not just left on the catch. Evidence shows doors are being tried by would be burglars, it only takes a few minutes for an unlocked door to be opened and valuable items stolen.

Thefts from Motor Vehicles

Items were taken from motor vehicles in Anchor Street, Lord Street, Wennington Road, Liverpool Road, Chapel Street and Canning Road, Southbank Road, Derby Road
