Council launch Sefton Support Hub

22nd December 2021

Sefton Council have today launched the Sefton Support Hub, a one stop digital notebook of helpful services and advice available for residents of Sefton.

Ranging from help with council tax and rent arrears to active fitness and support for new mums, the Sefton Support Hub is designed to be an easy way of signposting vital services for those communities and residents who will need them the most.

As part of its continued commitment to putting residents at the heart of what the local authority does, Sefton Council is working with with partners and ward councillors from all parties to produce a useful guide to what support services may be available and how people may be able to access them.

Cllr Trish Hardy, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing, said: “From emergency financial support to COVID-19 advice and to tips and resources for living a healthier lifestyle, the Sefton Support Hub is here for you.

“Within Sefton we have so many different areas of support, advice and financial aid packages in place and they are all well used by our residents, communities and businesses.

“As with any form of support, it’s far easier when you can go to one place and quickly be signposted exactly where you need to go, which is why we have created the Sefton Support Hub.

“The Hub is a flexible and ever-growing project, designed to advertise the services we know from intelligence and data that residents most need to access at that time and we also have a live chat facility for people to be able to speak with a member of our Contact Centre should they need further help.”
