Bold Hotel launches ‘essential items supermarket’ for elderly and key workers

The Bold Hotel on Lord Street has launched an ‘essential items supermarket’ for the town’s elderly and vulnerable residents, along with those designated to be ‘key workers’ under the government’s coronavirus guidelines.

The store will carry a range of items including fresh produce, frozen foods, pasta, wine, beer and spirits.

The Bold Hotel’s website says: “The whole community has been shocked and worried by the recent virus outbreak and we have witnessed the panic buying in our local supermarkets as a result. We were aware that our regular suppliers had plenty of the much needed essential items in stock but they do not supply to retail stores.”
