HMRC map pinpoints tax crime An online map pinpointing tax cheats around the country together with their crime and sentence has been launched recently by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). The map allows people to see the impact of HMRC’s enforcement work. It shows convictions resulting in jail sentences since April 2013, and the locations of HMRC taskforces since they were introduced in 2011. Warning after spate of burglaries in Southport Residents are being warned in Southport to be on their guard after a spate of burglaries continue in the town. Good Egg, which has tested 20,500 child safety seats in England, Wales and Scotland since 2002, found that 71% of seats tested in England and Wales were unsafe in 2014, and 64% in Scotland. A trailer became unhooked from a car while approaching Kew roundabout Southport on Saturday afternoon (7th February 2015). The trailer ended up against the kerb at the entrance to Kew retail park. Staff at Morrisons Southport are worried about losing their jobs at the end of March due to the restructuring of management. The management will all have to reapply for their jobs and sit interviews and there’s no saying whether they will get their jobs back or not. The UK supermarket chain plans to cut 2,600 jobs as a result of changes to its management structure. The firm, which has 126,000 staff, will reduce layers of management, it said. A new study has examined the relationships between Facebook use, feelings of envy, and feelings of depression.
