Southport’s ASDA store were quick to help local 92-year-old resident Annie when her favourite mango chutney was discontinued.
Annie, who has her shopping delivered each week, phoned the store to see if there was anything they could do to help replace the chutney.
Home shopping manager Mark packed up three different mango chutneys for Annie to try out and admin colleague Carol took them round to her on her way home – together with a bunch of flowers.
Store manager Craig said: “Annie is such a lovely lady and we wanted to help all we could.
She was over the moon when Carol turned up it really brightened up her day. It was great team work from Mark and Carol and Annie loved all the alternative chutneys we sent her!”
