Merseyside Police is appealing for the public’s help to trace a 21-year-old man from Croxteth who is wanted on recall to prison.

Dean Gibbons is wanted by officers after he failed to comply with his license release conditions. He was recalled to prison on Thursday, 5 February 2015.

Gibbons was sentenced to one year in prison in April 2014 for aggravated theft of a motor vehicle and was disqualified from driving for two years.

Extensive efforts have been made by the police to find him but he remains outstanding and officers need the public’s help in finding him.

He is described as white, of slim build, 5ft 9in tall with blue eyes, light brown short hair and a Liverpool accent. He has links to Speke, Huyton, Kirkby and Croxteth as well as Cheshire and Lancashire.
