Residents help pensioner who fell on Derby Road, Southport

A woman was taken to hospital after taking a fall on Derby Road, Tuesday February 23.

Scores of people gathered and comforted the pensioner after she had fallen at the crossing close to Asda.

A member of the public reported that the ambulance took around 30 minutes to turn up. The woman was taken to Southport Hospital after being checked over a the scene, her condition thought to be serious at the present time.
