Winner of several literary prizes and the author of books, plays and translations too numerous to list, Acclaimed for his extraordinary formal brilliance and technique, Harrison has famously said that ‘poetry is all I write, whether for books or readings, or for the National Theatre, or for the opera-house and concert hall, or even for TV.
