Man high on drugs arrested in Southport rest home car par

The emergency services were called to Roe Lane at around 7.30pm, Friday 10 July.

A member of the public reported to police that a man was acting suspiciously outside a block flats on Roe Lane.

When police arrived they found a male who was high on drugs trying to gain entry into an apartment, then he decided to make a run for it.

A witness said:

“This guy was clearly on some kind of substance, he was wrested to the ground in the ‘Good Companions’ rest home car park by officers then arrested”.
