Hickory’s Smokehouse will become “a welcoming family restaurant and neighbourhood bar.”
Work is well underway to transform the building, on Folkestone Road in Southport, that was formerly the Pageant pub.
The new restaurant will bring guests a slice of southern style hospitality.

The restaurant will offer a children’s cinema room and dedicated play area, covered veranda and enhanced outdoor seating options – along with an open fire-pit and large bar area.
The Southport restaurant will be the seventh Hickory’s Smokehouse with the team already having a number of popular estiblishments in Chester, Wirral, North Wales and the Midlands.
The exact opening date has not yet been revealed by the company, building contractors say that it will open shortly after Christmas.
