WATCH: Refuse Wagon Ditched
A refuse collection vehicle ended up having to be rescued from a ditch in Gorsey Lane, Banks at 9am this morning, Tuesday 27 December 2016.
A witness told our reporter that the driver had lost control along the straight stretch of the bumpy road, and this was the second time this happened within the last twelve months.
The driver and the team escaped without injuries.
The road was closed to traffic until 11am.
Local collection will not be affected.
