Hundreds of Santas take part in the annual Southport Santa Sprint
Hundreds of Santa’s ran around the seafront to raise funds for Queenscourt Hospice in the annual Southport Santa Sprint, Sunday 11 December 2016.
The sprint started at 11am from the Carousel on the Southport Pier Forecourt and was sponsored by Silcocks.
The event as always was a magical atmosphere, Gareth Burgess who was taking part said: “Either running or walking around the Pier and Promenade dressed as Santa Claus signals the start of Christmas”
The route is approximately two kilometres long and all funds raised will be going towards Queenscourt hospice.
