People are being told to stay away from Southport Hospital after unconfirmed reports of yet another outbreak of norovirus.
Nurses speaking on the condition of anonymity have contacted OTS News to say they understand an outbreak of the horrific vomiting bug has started at the hospital and although no official warning has been issued, they want as many people as possible to stay away.
If you do not need to visit a relative or if you are susceptible to the virus stay away.
Two nurses have also been reprimanded by their bosses for wearing their uniforms at the Richmond pub after a shift in fears that they may have brought a strain of the bug out of the hospital and into the public domain.
OTS News has asked Southport hospital for a comment to confirm or deny the reports.
