TV star makes guest appearance at Southport respite centre

20th February 2018

A TV star made a guest appearance at a respite holiday centre in Southport to mark the charity’s Best of British TV & Film Week.

Sam Aston – best known for playing the role of Chesney Brown in the longest-running soap opera, Coronation Street – made a recent appearance at Revitalise Sandpipers centre on the Marine Lake. He also took the time to meet and pose for photos with guests, volunteers and staff and also take part in a live Q&A session – an opportunity for fans of the show to find out more and have any burning questions answered.

The guest appearance was a fantastic end to the second half of the charity’s Best of British TV & Film Week, which also saw guests enjoy a surprise visit from a life-size Dalek thanks to the help of Make it Workshop, a non-profit organisation based in Cambridge Walks that reuses items that would normally be thrown on landfill to create something new.
