A Southport traffic warden chased off in ambulance row.
An overzealous traffic warden has been caught on camera as he was chased off after trying to ticket an ambulance in Southport.
The warden was caught on camera trying to put a ticket on the ambulance which was parked on Hoghton Street in a bus stop this afternoon after it responded to an 999 call at the Edge apartment block.
The warden took photos of the ambulance and he was about to issue a ticket when he quickly walked off to shouts of disgust by passers by.
The traffic warden had to make a quick escape when a group of bus passengers getting off nearby saw what was about to happen and swore at him.
