Town Centre Takeaway offers free food for homeless

A Southport takeaway says it will gladly offer free food to anyone homeless in the resort and in need of sustenance.

Marco Restaurant and Takeaway which recently opened on Union Street says homeless people will be able to benefit from free food the restaurant makes to help support them, as well as avoid food wastage.

The takeaway specialises in donner kebabs, burritos and milkshakes.

Light For Life services is the first point of call for anyone in housing need in Southport and Sefton. It is a registered charity run by a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers
