Town centre burglar jailed

Due to a recent increase in Business Burglaries in Southport Town Centre we have been increasing our patrols to disrupt offences.

Following further enquiries Samuel Lamberton (37 yrs) from Southport was identified and arrested on 7th September 2019.

Lamberton was arrested on Suspicion of three Burglaries in Southport Town Centre. Following his arrest and subsequent interview, he was charged with three counts of Burglary.

Lamberton appeared in Court today (09/09/19) where he was sentenced to 6-Months imprisonment.
