Tommy Fleetwood’s son steals show at Master’s Par Three contest

7th April 2022

Tommy Fleetwood’s four-year-old son Franklin stole the show at the Masters Tournament Par-3 contest in Augusta.

And Southport’s star golfer nearly skimmed an ace off the water at the 16th before Justin Rose hit a near-identical shot moments later during the traditional curtain-raiser.

The Par three Contest at Augusta is an annual tournament held before the Masters, with family members often acting as caddies and occasionally taking shots in the light-hearted opener.

The Masters starts today with Fleetwood teeing off for the first round at 3:12pm with Kevin Kisner and Daniel Berger.

PaddyPower are currently offering 50/1 on the Sandgrounder to win the tournament.

While Fleetwood is yet to win a major championship, he placed second at the 2018 U.S. Open. His best Masters finish to date was a 17th-place finish in 2018. He has made the cut in 5 out of the 7 tournaments played so far in the 2022 season.

Good luck Tommy!
