Baffling CCTV footage has been released of a woman brazenly stealing a bottle of alcohol from a Southport bar.
The woman, thought to be in her forties, wearing a full-length dress, was caught on camera walking confidently into the Retro bar on West Street on Sunday evening before swiping an expensive bottle of alcohol from the closed bar and leaving quickly.
Despite carrying a walking stick the footage shows the woman having no difficulty quickly executing the theft.
Bar staff were stunned to see the woman steal the bottle in broad daylight and one worker followed her outside to confront her.
The woman has been identified locally however OTS News understands no charges have yet been made.
