A suspected paedophile has been arrested in Southport, Monday 1 January 2018.
Internet vigilante group One Reason who travel around the country posing as underage children to lure criminals say they have helped in the capture of 34 year old, transvestite from Southport.
The group posed as a thirteen year old girl and allegedly engaged in graphic conversations with him/her online before arranging to spend the night in a hotel.
However when the accused showed up the group started filming him and posted the video to Facebook before police showed up to arrest him.
A statement from Merseyside Police is expected shortly.
