Surfs up for Southport Santa’s today

Santa’s sleigh will be floating to Southport this year as he hitches a ride on a paddle board.

The Southport Stand Up Paddle Board are holding two Christmas themed paddle races, the first of which takes place on November 18th to raise money for Queenscourt Hospice.

Organiser Alan Taylor said “There are two upcoming Southport Stand up paddle board events. There is the first of the winter series races being held from Southport Sailing club this Saturday the 18th race starting at 12 and on the 10th of December we will again be holding a Santa SUP to support the runners and raise money for Queenscourt too, setting off from Southport Sailing club and paddling to the pier to see the runners off.”
