Matthew Rycraft Photography, based at the Mews, Birkdale, has been revealed as winning round 3 of Wedding of the year 2017 with Your Merseyside & Cheshire Magazine, being a finalist for the fourth consecutive time!

Having won the last 2 years he hopes to retain the title for the 3rd consecutive year.  Winning this will add to an already large trophy cabinet including acquiring Silver in the Wedding Photography Association’s International Photography competition in America last year.

A spokesperson for magazine said: “It’s a fantastic accolade for Matt, we wish him all the best in retaining the title for 2017.  His photography of Michael and Lee captured the readers’ imaginations, ahead of dozens of other hopefuls.”

The winning couple Michael & Lee said: “We were lucky to work with some great suppliers. Matthew really engaged with what we wanted and made us feel so comfortable.  We truly couldn’t have asked for anything more, our friends talk about the pictures he produced all the time.  We are over the moon winning and can’t wait to see what happens in the new year.”

Matthew Rycraft Photography wins round 3 of wedding of the year for the 4th consecutive year becoming a finalist.

Speaking following the announcement of his win, Matt said: “To win round 3 becoming a finalist is a fantastic accolade for me in what is already a great time for the growth of my business.

“I’ve been doing this job for over a decade now and I have captured the happiest moments of more than 500 happy couples, with 2018 only having 3 spaces left.  Winning for the 3rd year in a row will make my year and tells me everything I need to know about the work I produce.

Matthew Rycraft Photography is located at The Mews Wedding Centre, Unit4, 15a Liverpool Road, Birkdale, PR8 4AS. Matthew’s studio is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
