Southport MP discusses anti-social behaviour in the town centre

Southport MP Damien Moore recently met with the Policing Minister, Nick Hurd MP, to discuss crime in Southport.

Damien said: “We spoke about anti-social behaviour in the town centre and I outlined local residents concerns that police are repeatedly redirected to other parts of Merseyside.

The Minister has assured me that he will look into this further.”

Last night (Tuesday 30 October) yobs have were caught on camera kicking in windows of shops along Lord Street.

An empty unit near to the taxi rank had its front window kicked in by a group and young boys and girls during mischief night in a front of vandalism and anti social behaviour across the town.

It followed the window and door of Jaspers Gifts in Cambridge Arcade being smashed in, thought to be by the same group of teenagers.
