Southport MP Damien Moore remember the fallen and those who fought in the Battle of Passchendaele
On Monday MP Damien Moore attended the laying of the wreath at Southport War Memorial to remember the fallen and those who fought in the Battle of Passchendaele.
The commemoration event was led by the Royal British Legion and supported by local residents and Veterans, as well as the Mayor of Sefton.
MP Damien Moore said: “Following the event, I also had the pleasure of being shown around the British Legion’s Break Centre at Byng House. The Centre provides respite for soldiers or veterans and their families, whilst ensuring the ex-Service community have a voice and that their concerns are brought to the public eye”.
