The popular actress plays social climbing hotel manageress Joyce Temple Savage in the ITV1 comedy, her latest acclaimed role in a hugely successful 40-year broadcasting career.

TV presenter and gardening expert, Joe Swift, to appear at this year’s show.

Top garden designer and broadcaster Joe Swift has joined the star line-up at the Southport Flower Show where he will share his expertise with visitors to the 2015 show. Joe, a favourite with viewers of the BBC show Gardeners’ World, is to give a masterclass at the Garden Roadshow in Southport’s Grand Floral Marquee and will then answer questions from the audience. Joe has been a gardener since he left school over 30 years ago and has launched a string of successful and award-winning garden design businesses.
