Southport College is celebrating today after over 250 of its students achieved grades A* to C in GCSE Maths and English examinations. The students had joined the College with GCSEs below grade C and were given the opportunity to study for the GCSEs alongside their main vocational course.

Southport College Principal, John Clarke said “We are extremely proud of the students’ achievements. We offer all students who join us with a grade D or below the opportunity to study Maths and English alongside their main course and this year’s group of students has been the most successful yet. We are also offering A-Levels for the first time to students who are starting courses with us this September; the addition of A-Levels in Maths and English will further enhance the exceptional prospects that an Advanced Level vocational course offers our students.”

Courses at Southport College are enrolling now for students of all ages. Visit for full details.
