Southport chicken firm forced to pull best seller from supermarket shelves

18th September 2021

A National frozen southern style chicken product company, whose head offices are in Southport, have been forced to pull one of their top selling products from supermarkets across the UK.

SFC Wholesale Ltd, famous up and down the country for their takeaway style frozen chicken meals, are a huge National supplier to thousands of supermarkets.

However this week the firm, who are based on Lord Street, is recalling The Original SFC Bargain Box as it contains milk, which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. This product is only sold in Sainsbury’s stores.

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
