An ice skating Santa will be joining young skaters on the ice this Sunday from 12pm. The open air rink in Town Hall Gardens is proving a huge hit with families and visitors as people skate beneath the Christmas lights and the mesmerising tree, all put on by Southport BID.
The ice skating rink itself has been organised as part of a partnership between the BID and Sefton Council. A first for the town, it is proving extremely popular and Santa is sure to be a hit this Friday! He will be on the ice for the skating sessions at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm – wowing visitors with his skills and a few surprises!
You can book a skating session in advance by visiting www.visitsouthport.com. Tickets can also be bought on the day but are on a first come first served basis so it’s best to buy as early as possible online.
The ice rink is open daily from 10am until 9pm right through the school holidays
