UPDATE: Serious police incident on Lord Street Southport

UPDATE: 

Merseyside Police can confirm that we are in attendance at a premises on Lord Street in Southport following the death of a woman this morning, Saturday 4 June.

At 10.00am, a woman was found at the bottom of a landing at flat premises on Viceroy Court, Lord Street. Police and ambulance attended and the woman was taken to Southport Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased at around 10.40am.

Police are not treating her death as suspicious.

Police have taped off the area under the balconies and closed off the road(10am)
