Sean Bean and Stephen Graham have been spotted filming on Southport Pier today.
The Game of Thrones actor is starring in a new BBC drama “Time” alongside Stephen Graham who plays prison officer Eric.
Bean will star as a teacher who killed an innocent man in an accident in the Jimmy McGovern drama.
Filming has also taken place in Liverpool in recent weeks.
Production will continue in Huyton tomorrow.
A car park at Ocean Plaza has been turned into a base of operations for the production.
No air date for the drama has been confirmed.
After wrapping production for the day, Sean Bean greeted some well-wishers at the Pier gates before being whisked away in a people carrier.
Sean said: “Getting to be involved in a Jimmy McGovern drama again is a real privilege and it will be great to be reunited with Stephen.
“Mark Hebden is another of Jimmy’s complex and superbly written characters and I am looking forward to bringing him to life on screen.”
